但是很不幸的，他們結婚幾年後，他的妻子因為生病過世了。
他的妻子過世後他非常的悲傷，他每天都吃不下飯，他每天都無法入睡，他一天比一天變得更瘦，他的朋友與家人都很擔心他的健康。
有一天，他的一個好朋友對他說。
你的妻子非常的漂亮，但是這個世界上還有很多很漂亮的女人。
你說過，你更重視一個女人的美貌勝過她的才華。
你又年經又有錢，你應該停止悲傷，你很容易就可以再找到一個很漂亮的女人再婚。
他的表情很苦澀的對他的朋友說。
我的妻子當然不可能是這個世界上最漂亮的，我也相信這個世界上還會有其他女人比我的妻子更漂亮，但是我愛我的妻子，我認為我這輩子不可能會再遇到讓我如此深愛的女人了。
他在他的妻子過世後一年左右就因為過度悲傷而死。
