The second king of China's Western Jin
Dynasty was named Sima Zhong, and his story is recorded in history books.
He was made crown prince at the age of 8
and married at the age of 13. His wife's name was (Jia Nanfeng). His
father-in-law was a very important minister in the Western Jin Dynasty.
He was a famous fool in Chinese history.
When he was king, there was a serious rebellion in the Jin Dynasty. Because of
the war, people's lives were very difficult.
One year there was a severe famine, and
many ministers reported to him about the miserable plight of the victims.
The ministers said to him.
We should find ways to save these disaster
victims who have nothing to eat. These victims don't even have vegetables to
eat, and many are dying of starvation.
After hearing what these ministers said, he
said to them.
If these victims have no vegetables to eat,
they can eat meat gruel.
Meat gruel is delicious and nutritious. I
like it very much.
Although he is stupid, he is a kind man.
Under his rule, the whole country became
very chaotic and many members of the royal family wanted to replace him as
king.
During a rebellion, a very loyal minister
sacrificed his life to save him. This loyal minister died in front of him to
save him. The blood of the loyal minister stained his clothes.
After the riot had died down, he did not
throw away the blood-stained clothes.
He looked at the clothes and said to the
servants who served him.
That faithful minister sacrificed his life
to save me, and I miss him very much and am grateful to him.
The dress was stained with his blood.
I will never wash this dress, I will keep
it as a souvenir.

(Why not eat meat porridge?)
